Can the display name / user name / login name / e-mail-address be changed?

The ‘display name’ is shown during individual training at the station and also appears in the online profile in the black column at the bottom left, directly above the navigation to the account settings. This name is easy to change, please see below. 

The ‘user name’ is the login name. In contrast to the display name, a user name may not be assigned more than once. If a particular user name is already in use, you will receive a corresponding message.  

If no user name is entered when creating a new account, the system automatically uses the QR-code as the user name. 

The ‘e-mail address’ can be used as a login name both in the mobile PixApp and for online login on the Pixformance platform.  

The user name / display name / e-mail address can be changed both via the admin platform (a) and in the user's online account (b):

1.a) Admin platform: In the  ‘Users’ list, click on the user whose name is to be changed.

1.b) User account: Log in to the online user account. 

2.a) Admin platform: Click on ‘Account’ at the top right. 

2.b) User account: Open the account settings at the bottom left via ‘Account settings’. 

3. field ‘Username’ / ‘Display name’ / ‘Email address’: Content can be changed or overwritten. Same process on the admin platform as in the user online account.  

4. apply change via ‘Update’-button. Same process on the admin platform as in the user online account.  

As soon as the user name is changed, the login name for the user login (online platform & mobile PixApp) changes.
